Every nanny in the Bloom & Nurture Community has been personally met, interviewed, screened and vetted through our B&N recruitment process. Each holds a Blue Card, first aid & CPR and insurance, with 2+ years experience and reference checks.

Full-time live-in or live-out, part-time and flexible support, temporary and holiday cover, newborn and infant specialist carers, and travel nannies for family holidays.
How long does it take to find the right nanny?
It depends on the support you’re looking for and when you need it. We take the time to understand your family before recommending a match, because the right person changes everything.
What happens if our nanny is unavailable?
Where possible, Bloom & Nurture prioritises consistent support from the same nanny. When your nannying is managed by Bloom & Nurture, we handle cover, so your week keeps its rhythm. If we’re ever unable to provide a confirmed nanny for a booking, we’ll use reasonable endeavours to arrange a suitable alternative, and where that isn’t possible, refund what you’ve paid for that booking. For direct placements, a four-week replacement guarantee applies from the placement date.
Can my nanny be paid through Bloom & Nurture?
Yes. With ongoing nannying managed by Bloom & Nurture, you pay us weekly, and we pay your nanny, handle rostering and arrange cover.
Rates, holidays & travel
How much does a private nanny cost?
Casual care starts from $49/hr, Monday to Saturday, for one or two children. Ongoing nannying, managed by Bloom & Nurture, starts from $47/hr, and overnight care is a flat rate from $360, 7pm–7am. Permanent nanny placement carries a $350 engagement fee, followed by a placement fee of $2,200 or $2,700. Each service has its full rate card above, including booking fees and travel.
Is there a minimum booking?
Yes — a minimum of 3 hours. A non-refundable booking fee applies: $35 standard, $45 public holiday and $55 overnight.
Do you offer holiday nannies on the Gold Coast, in Brisbane and in Byron Bay?
Yes. Holiday cover is available through the school holidays and the festive season, in your home or in the villa or resort you’re staying in. For school holidays, Christmas to New Year and Easter, we gently recommend enquiring early.
Can a nanny travel with us on holiday?
Yes. A travel nanny can join your family on holiday. Every arrangement is tailored to your destination and dates, and quoted individually.
