“She has a natural way with children, and they absolutely adore her … As a parent, it’s such a comfort knowing your children are in safe, capable hands with someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with them.”

Care That Begins with Understanding.
Bloom & Nurture was founded on a simple belief: children flourish when the adults around them have the capacity to be truly present. We provide thoughtfully matched nannies for families, weddings and events, so the people you love are beautifully cared for and you have room to breathe.

Why we exist
Children Need Presence, Not Just People Nearby.
Most parents know the difference between being there and being present, and what’s missing is rarely love. It’s capacity.
Children aren’t only thinkers; they’re feelers. They take in the energy of every room, even when nothing is said. When a parent is running a household, a career and a family from an empty cup, children feel it first.
Bloom & Nurture exists to take enough off your plate that you can come back to your children rested, regulated and fully there.
Look after yourself, so you can look after them.
Our story
Long Before It Was a Business.
Bahli grew up the eldest of four children, with thirteen years between her and her youngest sibling, and the second-oldest cousin in a very large extended family. Long before it was a job, caring for children was simply part of her day. She was the one helping with meals, bedtimes and the quiet work of keeping a busy household moving: a little family assistant before she had the words for it.
She was also an imaginative, sensitive child, and she remembers how much it matters when an adult takes the time to understand why a child feels the way they do, not just how they behave. That understanding shapes how she sees every child in her care.
Across seven years caring for private families and for children at events and weddings, including time in London as an au pair living inside another family’s rhythm, she saw the same pattern again and again: devoted parents carrying too much, and children who could feel it.
Bloom & Nurture grew from that recognition. Families don’t need someone to fill a shift. They need support that gives them back the capacity to live intentionally, and to be present with their children in the years that shape them most.
From Bahli
A Note from Our Founder.
What I’ve learned is that the most important thing a child needs isn’t a perfect schedule or the latest toy. It’s an adult who is calm, present and genuinely interested in them.
When I’m with your child, I’m not watching the clock. I’m on the floor at eye level, learning the names of their dinosaurs (even the ones I can’t pronounce) and noticing the little things that tell me how they’re really feeling.
And the thing I most want parents to know is that loving your children also means looking after yourself. Asking for support isn’t stepping away from them. It’s how you come back to them fully.
When the right support is in place, families don’t just manage. They flourish.

Our philosophy
More Than Supervision.
Plenty of carers can keep children safe. We believe care should also leave them feeling understood. That shows up in small, deliberate things:
-
Eye level, always
We get down to a child’s height and into their play, rather than watching from the edge of it.
-
Regulate before we correct
An overwhelmed child can’t learn from a lecture. We help them feel calm and safe first, then guide.
-
Follow their curiosity
If it’s dinosaurs this week, it’s dinosaurs. Learning lands best when it starts with what a child already loves.
-
Room to be a child
Boundless energy needs somewhere to go. Children move, create and imagine with us, inside kind, clear boundaries.
-
Love that also teaches
Warmth isn’t “anything goes”. We model how to treat people, animals and the world around us.
-
Every feeling is welcome
We help children name what they feel and learn that every feeling is allowed, even when every behaviour isn’t.
A child we’ll never forget
One boy we cared for found school a daily battle, and his mornings looked, from the outside, like pure defiance. Underneath was fear. Given activities shaped around what he loved, he was a different child: calm, gentle, patient and kind. Not every child fits the same box, and none of them should have to.
What we stand for
Care, Connection & Community.
Care
In practice, care means noticing. Remembering what a child told us last week, reading the signs of overstimulation before they become a meltdown, and treating your home and routines as carefully as our own.
Connection
We don’t supervise from the side of the room. We join in with the game, the craft and the story, because children open up to people who are part of their world. We keep you connected too, with honest, thoughtful updates.
Community
No family was meant to do this alone. We’re building a circle of families, carers and local businesses where asking for help is normal and exceptional support is always within reach.
Our approach
Considered from the First Conversation.
Thoughtful matching
We get to know your family, your children’s personalities and your rhythm before we introduce a nanny. The right fit matters more than the first available name.
Attentive care
Our nannies arrive prepared, follow your family’s way of doing things, and notice the details: the comfort toy, the tired cue, the friend they’re nervous about.
Considered support
Clear communication before, during and after every booking, so nothing is left for you to chase. You’ll always know how the day went, from the small wins to anything worth sharing.
The result: parents who feel confident, children who feel secure, and more of your life spent where you want to be.

Our speciality
For the Days You’ll Want to Remember.
Weddings and events hold a special place at Bloom & Nurture. Bahli still gets teary at vows, even a stranger’s, especially when a couple includes their children in the promises they make. Moments like that should be lived from the inside, not watched from the back while settling a restless toddler.
Our wedding and event nannies create a calm, beautifully organised space for children, with activities and attentive care, so parents can enjoy the speeches, the dancing and the people they came to celebrate. For couples, it means guests with children can say yes to the invitation and relax once they arrive. For planners and venues, it’s one less thing to manage.
The same care sits at the heart of our private nanny support at home, for all the ordinary weeks in between.
Looking ahead
Where Asking for Help Is a Strength.
Our hope is that seeking support becomes something families do with confidence, not guilt: an investment in your children, your relationships and yourself, rather than a sign that you couldn’t manage.
We’re building a community where families feel supported and children are genuinely nurtured. Every family we work with should be able to say: my child was exceptionally cared for, I had time to give back to myself, and I came home with a fuller cup.
Let’s Make Room for What Matters.
Tell us about your family or your celebration, and we’ll take it from there.
