What is Family Assistance?

What can an assistant help with?
Household organisation, appointments and scheduling, errands, meal preparation, travel and holiday logistics, school runs, and personalised concierge tasks. Every arrangement is tailored, so tell us what’s on your list.
How is it different from a Private Nanny?
A private nanny cares for your children. A Family Assistance arrangement looks after the household around them. Many families combine the two, and we’re happy to recommend what suits yours.
Is Family Assistance a cleaning service?
No. Assistants focus on organisation and the smooth running of your household, not general domestic cleaning.
Can support be ongoing or occasional?
Both. Some families have a regular weekly arrangement. Others book support for a busy season, a move or a holiday.
Can you help while we’re travelling?
Yes. Support is available at home, in a hotel or in holiday accommodation.
Will we have the same assistant each time?
For ongoing arrangements, yes. You’ll have one consistent assistant who comes to know your household.
How is our privacy protected?
Every assistant signs a confidentiality agreement and is personally interviewed and vetted. Your home, your schedule and your family’s details stay private.

Across the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Byron Bay and surrounding regions.
How much does Family Assistance cost?
Family Assistance is $49 per hour Monday to Saturday, $59 on Sundays and $64 on public holidays, with a 3-hour minimum. A non-refundable booking fee of $35 applies ($45 on public holidays). When support includes looking after your children, our Private Nanny rates apply.
Is there a minimum booking?
Yes, a minimum of 3 hours, plus the non-refundable booking fee.
